Frequently Asked Questions

The unit features three charging methods: USB cable (primary/fastest), integrated solar panel (backup trickle charge), or the fold-out hand crank. For first-time use or after 60+ days of storage, crank for 3–5 minutes or plug into USB to wake the battery.

Roughly 2 to 3 minutes of steady hand cranking yields approximately 15–20 minutes of continuous 3-LED torchlight or AM/FM radio usage during power outages.

The built-in 2000mAh battery provides a short emergency power boost to keep your phone alive for critical calls or messages. It is designed for emergency top-ups rather than replacing a standard power bank.

Yes! The extendable antenna tunes into standard FM (87–108 MHz) and AM (520–1710 kHz) frequencies. Note: The WB (Weather Band) toggle covers US NOAA frequencies and is inactive in the UK.

The unit is rated IPX3 splash-resistant, making it safe against light rain drops or outdoor dampness, but it must never be submerged in water.

Orders are dispatched from our fulfillment hub within 1–3 business days. UK Standard Tracked delivery takes 7 to 10 business days.

Power Cut Ready. Pocket Sized.

When the lights go out, a radio and a torch are the two things you’ll want first. This compact 3-in-1 gives you both in one small unit. Charge it by hand crank, solar panel or USB, then tune into AM/FM radio, switch on the 3-LED torch, or use the USB output for an emergency phone top-up. UK government guidance on home emergency kits suggests keeping a battery or wind-up radio and torch to hand, and this works just as well for camping, caravan trips and the glovebox.

Key Features

  • Three ways to charge: hand crank, solar panel or USB, feeding a built-in 2000mAh lithium-ion battery.
  • AM/FM radio: extendable antenna (AM 520–1710 kHz, FM 87–108 MHz).
  • 3-LED torch: bright white light for dark rooms and power cuts.
  • Emergency phone top-up: the USB output gives a small boost for short, essential use. It won’t fully charge a phone.
  • Battery indicator: see the charge status at a glance.
  • Built-in protection: over-charge, short-circuit and low-voltage cut-off.
  • Compact: 130 × 60 × 40 mm. Splash-resistant (IPX3), not waterproof, so never submerge it.

Good to know

  • Crank power: 2–3 minutes of steady cranking gives roughly 15–20 minutes of torch or radio (manufacturer figure).
  • Solar is slow: about 10–12 hours of moderate sunlight, so treat it as a backup, especially in a UK winter.
  • First use: crank for 3–5 minutes or charge by USB to wake the battery. Do the same if it’s been idle for 60+ days.
  • No weather band in the UK: the WB setting covers US NOAA frequencies and won’t pick up UK broadcasts. This radio is for AM/FM.
  • Charging port: micro-USB or USB-C, supplied at random.

The little one is so cute, it picks up all the FM stations and only one AM and SW station; I don't know which one it is, it doesn't pick it up.
It sounds good, and it's a nice flashlight.

Even with low light the panel charges, don’t need to put in direct sunlight, and because it has a battery it’s better not to put in direct sunlight. The reception is good and the 3 light modes for the flash light is great.

The box arrived dented, thanks to the delivery services.
The radio itself works properly, charging is done via Type C. It can also be charged mechanically and from the built-in solar panel, although it's unclear how effective that is. The radio receives signals reliably even without an antenna. The flashlight has 3 levels of brightness. Can be used as a power bank. The plastic is matte and pleasant to the touch. The build quality is good.

It works very well and picks up radio emissions effectively. The flashlight is also powerful, with three brightness modes, from the strongest to the weakest. The AAA battery is used as a reference point.

The truth is that it looks great. I just tried it and it works well.
It is compact, with a fairly powerful LED light and comes with a USB to USB Type-C cable and an instruction manual.
I think I made a good purchase.
I hope it lasts a long time.

Well, practical, arrived quickly, sounds good. It charges via USB and stays powered by sunlight through the charging panel.

It arrived quickly and in good condition.

At the moment it works correctly, it just needed to have stereo sound!

Thanks to the dynamo crank, because we've had no sun for a month; ) and it also says it's waterproof... The materials used seem durable.

I would buy it again.

It is a very practical and beautiful gift.

Once the battery runs out, it takes a long time to recharge and last a good while again. It is not very functional.

Works well, seems all good. No experience with its battery so far…
